Pete began playing the guitar at the age of 11 and started giging by the age of 12 in the school band “Blues Spirit“ where he played the lead guitar. Mostly self taught, Petes early influences were Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Garry Moore.

By the age of 19 he decided to to take up private lessons and developed a passion for all things fast as long as they have been played by Steve Vai or Joe Satriani. With more experience and understanding of music he decided to enroll in a music degree course which involved the major step of moving from his home country Germany to Guildford in England. During this time it was that he developed a passionate love for Jazz music and his influences are Joe Pass, George Benson and Pat Martino.

Pete has worked professionally since 1998 in numerous projects such as backing a major artist in the prime time German Television show “Hitparade der Volksmusik” to play in the remake of the Christmas song “Do they know its Christmas time” for Radio Capitol FM. Recently he has been Musical Director in a private TV production and plays with different bands all over the country as well as having traveled the world on his work for P&O cruise ships on board the Oriana.

Pete is teaching at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and has over the years recorded with numerous artists. Currently Pete is working on his debut album . Watch out for it…!
