The John Turville Trio

Website: http://www.myspace.com/johnturville
The John Turville trio play original music that has a “rhythmic vitality and openness, deep lyricism and collective empathy”.
In February 2008 they recorded their first album in Artesuono studio, Udine, Italy, ‘Midas' and will release and tour it in the autumn of 2009.
‘“I was struck by the musicality of the playing, the sensitivity and empathy in the ensemble and the lyricism and development…
There isn't a moment when anything is overplayed [and] they play with a maturity well beyond their years”
Tim Whitehead
